About the Role
Restore Psychology is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Psychologist or Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) to join our growing virtual private practice as a part-time contractor. This role is ideal for someone passionate about working with adults, eager to expand their practice, and committed to providing evidence-based, client-centered care.

Key Qualifications:

Registered Psychologist in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists or College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (provisional candidates with strong external supervision may also apply) or Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC).

Holds (or is willing to obtain) valid liability and malpractice insurance.

Successful completion of a criminal record check and vulnerable sector check.

Passionate about supporting adults with evidence-based care.

Training in more than one therapeutic modality (e.g., ACT, CBT, EFT, DBT etc.).

Minimum two years of clinical experience preferred

Experience working with diverse adult clients and presenting concerns including anxiety, trauma, depression, self-esteem, trauma, and related issues.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and client-centered care.

Flexible availability, including at least one evening or weekend shift per week.

Comfort with teletherapy tools, secure note-keeping, and virtual care platforms (e.g., Jane, Owl, or equivalent).

Specialized training in EMDR, ART, or somatic practices considered a strong asset.

Dual Registration in the province of Alberta and BC considered a strong asset.
Required Skills and Experience

Ability to build and maintain a strong therapeutic alliance with diverse clients.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

Familiarity with ethical and legal standards in psychological practice (CPA Code of Ethics, PHIPA/HIPAA compliance).

Ability to work independently while also engaging in collaborative consultation.
Client Population

Primarily adults (individual therapy focus).

Couples or family therapy may be available depending on training and interest.
