Let’s Make Sure It’s the Right Fit

Finding the right therapist is one of the most important parts of a successful therapy journey. That’s why all our therapists offer a free 15-minute consultation by phone or video—to help you feel confident and comfortable before starting.

During our consultation, you’ll have the chance to:

  • Share a bit about what’s been going on, your goals, or why you're considering therapy

  • Ask any questions you have about how therapy works, and your therapist can share how they can help support you

  • Get recommendations for other resources or referrals

Whether you're exploring online counselling in Calgary or Vancouver, this no-pressure call is here to support you in making the most informed and empowering decision for your mental health.

Supporting clients across Alberta

Meghan Hole

Hi! I’m Meghan, a Registered Psychologist in Alberta who works with teens and adults, providing individual and group therapy across Alberta.

My background as a teacher also helps me understand the needs of youth and families. Although I primarily work with adults, I also support teens and their caregivers as they navigate distress, including suicidal or self-harming behaviours.

I believe wisdom shows up when we slow down, pay attention to the moment, and make choices that are aligned with our goals. Stress, invalidation, and chronic overwhelm can make this clarity hard to reach, and therapy often becomes the place where people reconnect with confidence and joy.

Clinical Focus:

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Grief and loss

  • People-pleasing and difficulty setting boundaries

  • Emotion dysregulation, including impulsivity and intense anger

  • Suicide and self-harm

  • Occupational stress and burnout

  • Divorce and separation

Therapeutic Modalities

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I integrate evidence-based therapies and tailor treatment to your needs, which may include:

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART)

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy informed (DBT)

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

  • Trauma-informed and mindfulness-based approaches

Treatment is not one-size-fits-all, and we will work together to find what is most effective for you.

Populations Served

  • Adults (18+)

  • Teens (13–18)

  • Families

  • Indigenous Peoples (First Nations and Métis)

  • LGBTQ+ Ally

We might be a good match if...

  • You feel weighed down by anxiety or depression and want evidence-based support to regain peace and joy.

  • You are living with the effects of trauma or PTSD and want to reduce its impact on your life.

  • You are navigating grief or loss and need a grounded space to process complex emotions at your own pace.

  • You experience intense emotions, impulsivity, or anger and want practical strategies to increase your ability to cope with distress.

  • You struggle with suicidal thoughts or self-harm and want care focused on safety and meaningful change.

  • You feel burned out from work and want support restoring boundaries and balance.

  • You are going through divorce or separation and want support navigating emotional and identity shifts.

If this resonates with you, therapy with me offers a space to feel more grounded, mindful, and connected.

Fun Facts

Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dogs and spending time in the mountains.

If you are considering online therapy in Alberta, you are welcome to book a free 15-minute consultation to discuss next steps and determine whether my approach is the right fit.
